To support the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) in replacing open distribution storage reservoirs with secure covered tanks, Nitsch provided land surveying services at the Blue Hill Reservoir. Our services began with providing topographic existing conditions survey of the bottom of the Blue Hill Reservoir after it had been drained, including the location of key drainage structures and piping.
As construction proceeded for the installation of massive water storage tanks, Nitsch provided as-built monitoring of the contractor’s earthwork placement. Due to the ongoing construction, immediate onsite confirmation of critical material placement was needed.
