Nathan Rosencranz, PE, SE, Director of Structural Engineering
Nate has 16 years of experience in bridge design and bridge construction engineering, with a specialty in solving complex problems with innovative solutions that are constructible. In addition to bridge design, he is experienced in bridge rating and inspection, bridge and tunnel rehabilitation, dam rehabilitation, design of high mast light pole foundations, and analysis of communication towers. As Director, Nate will oversee the daily operations and growth of Nitsch’s Structural Engineering department.
Nicole Holmes, PE, LEED AP, Sustainability and Innovation Practice Lead
Nicole has over 22 years of experience in providing civil engineering and sustainable stormwater management services for innovative projects along the East Coast. In her new role, she will help integrate innovative and resilient design practices from project initiation through construction across all Nitsch’s departments and offices. Nicole will remain a senior leader in the Resilience Planning and Design group and continue to lead Nitsch’s internal Research Initiative with the goal of developing a deeper understanding of issues and challenges that will impact our clients and communities, and to research ways we can help solve these issues using new techniques and technologies.
David Conway, PE, LEED AP, Executive Project Manager – Civil Engineering
Dave has 32 years of experience in the field of civil engineering. In that time, he has focused on providing civil/site design, roadway design, and construction administration services for academic institutions and municipal clients, including recreational and athletic facility projects. He has extensive experience in utility design – including drainage, water supplies, and wastewater collection – permitting, and site design. He also has a great deal of experience dealing with regulatory and planning agencies on a municipal level.
Evan Smith, PE, Project Manager – Civil Engineering
Evan has over 10 years of experience related to site development projects, which includes site design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, utility system design, and construction administration. He provides a reliable base of knowledge to support a creative and inclusive design approach working collaboratively with clients, architects, landscape architects, and contractors. In addition to his solid technical background, he also offers an extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of the intricacies of permitting review and approval strategies, and site construction methods and processes, shepherding many projects from concept through construction.
