Nitsch Engineering is thrilled to announce three promotions that help position Nitsch for the future: Aaron Gallagher, PE, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO); Deborah Danik, PE, has been promoted to Director of Civil Engineering; and Jared Gentilucci, PE, has been promoted to Deputy Director of Civil Engineering.
Aaron, Deb, and Jared are each long-term Nitsch employees who have proven to be excellent leaders who truly embody our core values. Please join us in congratulating them on their promotions!
Aaron Gallagher, PE, CFM, LEED AP, Vice President & COO
Aaron, who most recently served as the Director of Civil Engineering at Nitsch, has been named Nitsch’s new COO and remains a Vice President.
As COO, Aaron will oversee the activities of each of Nitsch’s technical departments, including maintaining operational excellence, helping drive the strategic and marketing plans forward, helping mitigate risk, and working with department directors to improve existing procedures and controls. His approach will leverage the industry and business knowledge gained over the course of his 24 years in the civil engineering field, 18 of which have been spent at Nitsch. Aaron has been a shareholder of the company since 2014 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2018.
Aaron said, “As I’ve grown my career, I’ve benefitted greatly from the fact that Nitsch provides opportunities for people to grow and succeed, all while showing up as their authentic selves. I’m excited to dive into the challenges of maintaining our collaborative and supportive culture in a strategic and intentional way as Nitsch continues to grow!”

Deborah Danik, PE, CPESC, LEED AP BD+C, Vice President & Director of Civil Engineering
Deb, who most recently served as the Deputy Director of Civil Engineering, has 20 years of experience as a civil engineer – 17 of which have been at Nitsch! As an engineer, she has specialized in designing urban sites, integrating sustainable site practices, and resolving permitting issues in the City of Boston. Deb excels at managing multiple complex projects at a time and progressing projects from concept through design, permitting, and construction. She enjoys the challenge of tackling something new every day and strives to provide sustainable, cost-effective, and time-sensitive solutions to a variety of projects and multiple clients.
As the Director of Civil Engineering, Deb will oversee the daily operations and lead strategic initiatives to support the growth of the civil engineering department. She will continue to serve as Vice Chair of Nitsch’s Board of Directors. Deb has been a shareholder of the company since 2015 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2016.

Jared Gentilucci, PE, CPESC, LEED AP BD+C, Deputy Director of Civil Engineering
Jared has 17 years of experience as a civil engineer – all at Nitsch, which he joined as an intern! Jared specializes in the design and permitting of complex site development projects, including stormwater management systems, site utilities, site layout and grading, and erosion and sediment control. As Deputy Director, Jared will continue to serve as a Senior Project Manager on projects, while working closely with Deb to manage day-to-day operations and plan for the future of the civil engineering department. Jared has been a shareholder of the company since 2018.
