Over the past two years, Nitsch Engineering has been monitoring the 2016 Massachusetts Small MS4 General Permit. While the permit was delayed by a year, we now anticipate the permit coverage starting as scheduled on July 1, 2018.
The Small MS4 program provides a regulatory framework for managing stormwater and protecting important water resources that impact the quality of life in every community. With our experience working on exciting and landmark stormwater projects, Nitsch Engineering can assist communities in understanding the new permit requirements. Our wide range of experience in stormwater design and municipal permitting has provided us with the expertise required to help communities comply with the MS4 permit’s six Minimum Control Measures, as well as prepare Management Plans for communities that discharge to impaired waters.
