As we come together for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s (MassDOT) Innovation & Mobility Exchange in Worcester, on Tuesday, April 10th and Wednesday, April 11th, we hope you’ll take the time to meet up with Nitsch Engineering!
Visit either of our booths – one on the first floor and one on the second floor – to learn how Nitsch Engineering can work with MassDOT and other public agencies to benefit our communities. From designing complete streets that revitalize neighborhoods and spur economic development; to implementing green infrastructure solutions that protect and restore the environment; to providing survey for and designing roadway, intersection, and bridge projects that improve community safety and functionality, Nitsch Engineering is here to build a thriving transportation network with you.
And don’t miss our Vice President and Director of Transportation Engineering, Fayssal Husseini, PE, PTOE, LEED Green Associate, as he presents Using SUE for Better Infrastructure Improvements (Session 2B) on Tuesday, April 10th, at 11:15 a.m. Fayssal and Blake Leclair, Project & IT Manager at BSI Engineering, will lead a discussion of the CI/ASCE 38-02 “Standard Guidelines for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data” and how it can be used to address today’s complex infrastructure needs. Using a successful MassDOT project in the Town of Barnstable as a case study, they will explain how SUE can be incorporated into the survey/design process. Richard Bilski, MassDOT District 5 Utility Engineer, will share insights on how MassDOT will incorporate SUE into future projects, and Guy Rezendes, MassDOT’s State Utilities Engineer, will moderate the panel.
