Magazine honors the best employers in Massachusetts
Nitsch Engineering has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the 10th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. The company was ranked #16 in the medium firm category for 2017, making this the third year in a row that Nitsch Engineering has made the list.
Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them the best – their employees. The confidential survey, performed independently by Energage, measured employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The winners share a few key traits, including offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging them to have fun while they’re at it.

334 Massachusetts organizations submitted to the competition this year, with the Globe recognizing the top companies in each of four categories: small (50 to 99 employees), medium (100 to 249), large (250 to 999), and largest (1,000 or more).
“Our winning companies are all in on a secret,” said Katie Johnston, the Globe’s Top Places to Work editor. “Treating employees well isn’t that difficult, and the payoff – increased morale, retention, and productivity – is huge.”
